After-School Teacher 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 1980 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating and inspiring students. This role requires experience working with children, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in various subjects, including arts and sports. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Educate students in a variety of subjects, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment. Provide tutoring and additional support to students who may need extra help. Incorporate theater arts and sports coaching into the curriculum to enhance student engagement. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and parents to support student development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning. Requirements Proven experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred. Experience in behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Familiarity with tutoring practices that support diverse learners. Skills in theater or sports coaching are highly desirable. Certification in First Aid is a plus.
