Job Description The Middle School History teacher must integrate Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout all curriculum and activities.
Other duties include:
Supervise classes diligently to ensure all students are learning in a safe, engaging, and constructive environment Prepare materials for all sections Assign, correct, and grade homework assignments, projects, classroom work, tests, and quizzes Issue progress reports and semester report cards Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communication Areas of instruction include:
- World Geography
- Georgia History
- World History Job Requirements Knowledgeable in relevant classroom technology
- MS Teams Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Concentration in History preferred. Urban School classroom experience Meet professional teacher education requirements of school and state 3+ years relevant teaching experience preferred Ability to build a rapport with all varieties of middle school-age students Excellent communication and presentation skills Thriving personal relationship with Christ Passionate about teaching urban students American, World, & Georgia History. Energetic and engaging person with knowledge of content.
