Middle School Math teacher Our Lady of Prompt Succor school in Westwego 531 Avenue A, Westwego, LA 70094 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts, including Geometry, Differential Equations, and Discrete Math, to students in a private school setting. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and implementing effective behavior management strategies. Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that cover the curriculum for various mathematics topics. Educate students on mathematical concepts, ensuring they understand both theoretical and practical applications. Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress in mathematics. Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment. Provide additional support to students who may require extra help with their studies. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience through shared resources and strategies.
