Role:
Montessori Moments Homeschool Hybrid is seeking a passionate and flexible Lower Elementary Teacher (Grades 1-3) for our small-group, Montessori-inspired hybrid program. This program blends core academics with enrichment experiences for homeschool students in a nurturing, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Teach core academic subjects in small groups (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies) Facilitate project-based learning, independent study, and collaborative group projects Maintain an organized, calm classroom that encourages independence and real-world skills Support student enrichment activities and hands-on exploration Communicate with families regularly and collaborate with team members Support social-emotional growth and responsibility in a mixed-age setting
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education or related field preferred) Montessori certification or training preferred but not required Experience working with 6-9 year olds (or multi-age groups) Comfortable teaching multiple subjects and flexible with daily routines Strong classroom management skills with a focus on independence and respect Passionate about individualized learning and small-group instruction
