After School, Pre School, Toddler tacher Little Star Child Care Center 2 Gaythorne Road, Methuen, MA 01844

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Provide instruction to students in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the material
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavior
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques
• First aid certification is a plus
