Job Description
St. Mary of the Annunciation School has a Middle School Religion Teacher opening for the 2025-2026 school year. St. Mary’s is an academically rigorous and supportive PreK-8 community located in Danvers, MA. St. Mary’s is dedicated to creating a positive environment where all students can strive for and achieve scholarship, service and self-discipline.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, Elementary or Secondary Education Certification and a preferred minimum of 1-3 years of classroom experience. Other desired requirements include an ability to foster positive relationships with students, strong communication to families on a regular basis, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity of instructional technology, an ability to work on a collaborative team, knowledge of curriculum, differentiation, instructional strategies and interventions, and the desire to contribute positively to the greater school community.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Attend community events throughout the school year.
- Attend and contribute to faculty meetings and professional learning sessions.
- Provide enrichment opportunities for students
- Be a member of liturgy committee
