$50.2K – $61.1K a year 6 hours ago Qualifications French Google Workspace Curriculum development Teaching Certification French Visio Mid-level Teaching Full Job Description Swampscott High School French Teacher (School Year 25-26) Swampscott High School has an opening for a dynamic French educator for grades 9-12. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, energetic and excited to provide students with authentic learning experiences and varied interactive lessons. We seek a new team member who is passionate about the language and eager to collaborate with colleagues and connect with students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French, experience working with Google & G-Suite Apps and experience with curriculum development. Familiarity with ACTFL standards for World Language, Comprehensible Input and Oral Proficiency is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a professional licence and have experience teaching AP French.
Requirements:
Native or near-native fluency in French MA teaching license in French 9-12 SEI endorsement required Citizen, residency or work permit required
Physical Requirements:
This position may require long periods of sitting, talking, or hearing in person and by telephone; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls, and reaching with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color visio,n and the ability to adjust focus. The individual may be exposed to ultraviolet lights as are found in computer monitors and copying equipment. The individual may be exposed to various hazards in the building.
