Part-Time Afterschool Teacher Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

12pm-5pm or 1pm-5pm Monday Through Friday This Position runs from September 8th to June 18th The Afternoon Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for children, assisting with afternoon enrichment program and activities, supervising children during playtime, mealtime, outdoors, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising children during rest time, playtime, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and appropriate interactions. Assisting with diaper changing (if needed), toileting, and hand washing routines Helping children with mealtime supervision Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment Following classroom rules and procedures to ensure children’s safety Managing classroom behavior and redirecting children as needed Maintaining open communication with the director, other staff, and parents Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Working with the Director of Enrichment program to help execute the activities
