$54.4K – $68.5K a year 7 hours ago Qualifications IEP Writing skills Mid-level Master’s degree Experience working with students Full Job Description The Braintree Public School District is seeking a Specialized Program Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the Braintree High School special services team in the Alternative Education program. This position requires DESE curriculum area licensure (9-12) with preference for ELA experience. Dual moderate special needs licensure strongly preferred. The succesful candidate will receive a teaching assignment based on professional skill set and specific program needs. A Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred including a background of direct academic instruction with high school level students. Clear evidence of working with students within the inclusion, small groups and 1:1 academic support settings. Ideal candidates will have experience working in secondary level specialized programs working with students having specific learning and SEL profiles. Experience in writing IEP’s in the new DESE format preferred.
