Job Description
Avon Middle High School is seeking a Full Time Middle School Math Teacher for the 25-26 School Year. Candidates must possess a valid Math teaching certification for grades 5-8 and/or 5-12. Please submit a letter of interest, current resume, at least three (3) letters of reference, and copy of appropriate teaching certification.
Responsibilities:
1.Planning and implementing standards-based lessons with clear objectives
2.Organizing and using a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings
3.Use methods of instruction that are welcoming, motivating, and supporting.
4.Designing and demonstrating differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students
5.Assessing student progress, providing students and parents with specific feedback, and using the results to adjust instruction as needed.
