Job Description
Rising Tide Charter Public School has an opening for a Middle School English Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher who fills this role will teach four sections of Grade 8 English, serve as an Advisor to a group of students, and teach a mini-elective for 2 out of the four terms. Applicants must have a strong background in English (a degree with a concentration in the subject area), a passion for working with middle school-aged students, and a readiness for taking an inquiry- and skills-based approach to teaching and learning.

Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a free charter public school in Massachusetts. Rising Tide serves approximately 620 students in grades 5-12 from 20 towns in the school’s designated region; the majority of the students are residents of Plymouth.

Teachers develop the curriculum based upon the schoolwide objectives, benchmark skills, and subject area essential questions; the curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks.
