Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and spiritually grounded Middle School History & Language Arts Teacher to inspire students in grades 6-8. This individual will teach both subjects from a biblical worldview while fostering critical thinking, strong writing skills, and a deep understanding of God’s hand in history.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach middle school History (World and U.S.) and Language Arts (literature, writing, grammar) Integrate Christian worldview into all lesson plans and class discussions Design engaging, age-appropriate lessons that challenge and support students Foster respectful, discussion-based classroom culture Communicate consistently with students and parents regarding academic progress Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership in support of school-wide goals Supervise students in non-classroom settings as needed (chapel, lunch, events)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, or a related field (required) Experience teaching middle school (preferred) Passion for Christian education and discipleship Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills State teaching certification (preferred) CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
