Middle School/High School Math Teacher Clarksdale Collegiate Public Charter School 1012 W 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614

What You’ll Do:

As a middle/high school teacher at Clarksdale Collegiate, you’ll be at the forefront of preparing scholars for college, careers, and life beyond graduation. You will cultivate a classroom environment that challenges, supports, and motivates students to think critically, engage deeply, and grow into thoughtful, empowered citizens. Drive Academic Excellence Set and maintain high academic and behavioral expectations, ensuring all scholars rise to meet them. Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that prepares students for college-level work. Design engaging unit and lesson plans that make complex content accessible and meaningful. Utilize data, assessments, and feedback to track student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs. Develop and implement interventions for students who are not yet mastering academic goals. Maintain strong classroom routines and structures that support a focused and safe learning environment. Complete required documentation and administrative tasks on time and with fidelity. Grow as a Professional Commit to continuous improvement through ongoing learning and professional development. Participate in all professional development sessions and weekly coaching meetings. Collaborate with instructional coaches and peers to refine practices and implement feedback. Analyze student data and reflect regularly to improve outcomes and instructional strategies. Engage Families & Build Community Build trusting relationships with families through consistent communication and accessibility. Provide families with timely updates on student progress, behavior, and academic goals. Partner with stakeholders to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. Support school initiatives, events, and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring:

A bachelor’s degree (required at the time of employment) A valid Mississippi teaching license or certification in the appropriate content area
