The goal of BCA is to provide the best education possible in a loving, Christ-honoring atmosphere. BCA is an accredited school of the Association of Christian Schools International and Cognia with a state certified staff that provides a quality, Bible-based curriculum to students in grades K4-12 for the 2025-2026 academic year. We are looking for Christian teachers passionate about academics and sharing their relationship with Christ. We strive to minister to the whole child in all aspects of the school day. Bethesda Christian Academy partners with Christian families to inform the student’s mind, to affect the student’s heart and to increase the student’s personal talents as they seek to be an Ambassador for Christ. We have the following positions open currently for the 2025-2026
School Year:
• Middle School Language Arts/ELA and Middle School Math Teacher •Substitute Teacher Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse academic needs of students. Mentor students, providing guidance and support in their academic, spiritual and personal development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Write detailed reports on student performance and behavior. Facilitate a classroom environment conducive to learning, encouraging student participation and collaboration.. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in Christian private schools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students of varying backgrounds. Proficiency in creative writing and mentoring techniques. Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.
