The Spanish Teacher must be a native Spanish speaker and should be motivated, dynamic, and organized, with the ability to work in diverse teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide high quality Spanish Language instruction for children in grade 6-8 Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged. Maintain records and communicate student progress and development Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and adheres to PLP Code of Conduct Work collaboratively with department members and share excitement for language learning and a Spanish immersion experience The candidate will be required to uphold standards set by the NC Department of Public Instruction. Desirable applicants will hold a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Experience teaching Middle School is preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
