The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching various mathematics courses, preparing students for standardized testing, and supporting their academic growth through innovative teaching methods. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics such as differential equations. Assess student performance through regular testing and provide constructive feedback. Utilize various teaching methodologies, including Montessori techniques, to accommodate diverse learning styles. Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing additional resources. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Experience A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required; higher education teaching experience is preferred. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and preparation methods. Experience in proofreading academic materials for clarity and accuracy. Knowledge of microbiology or biochemistry is a plus but not mandatory. Previous experience in laboratory settings is advantageous for practical applications of mathematical concepts.
