Elementary, Junior High, and High School Teachers Job Summary:

Highlander Academy is a small, private school located in Red Springs. We offer a close-knit, nurturing environment for our students and faculty. Classes are no larger that 15 students. We are seeking a dedicated teachers for Elementary, Junior High and High School grades to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess strong classroom management skills, and have a deep understanding of school curriculum. As a teacher at Highlander Academy, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process
• Provide support and guidance to students in various subjects including Math, Science, English, History, and Physical Education.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity
• Implement behavior management techniques to ensure a productive classroom setting
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and achievement.
• Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching preferred
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of education administration practices is a plus
