Candidates should inspire intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning from the past, support students in the development of faith and virtue, and equip students to become confident speakers and writers. Candidates should be gifted in the art of fostering a joy of learning, while also challenging students to grow in the areas of speaking, reading and writing. The position also involves advising a small group of students throughout the school year and investing in the middle school community through the context of athletics, fine arts, and clubs. Candidates must meet the following requirements: Hold a bachelor’s degree in History Education, Elementary Education, Middle Grades Education, History, or a similar field Have experience working with middle-school aged children Demonstrate alignment with the mission, vision, and values of St. David’s School Ideal candidates will: Possess a master’s degree in an appropriate/relevant field.
