Summary We are seeking a passionate After School Teacher to join our team at Woodside School Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children in Kindergarten- Grade 4, fostering their development and growth. This position plays a vital role in our mission to provide quality early education. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements MUST be available to work 2:30pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with young children & school age children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. First aid certification is a plus.
