Middle School ELA Teacher Ann Street School 30 Ann Street, Newark, NJ 07105 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in instructional design, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Mentor students in their academic pursuits, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. Incorporate library services into lesson plans, promoting literacy and research skills among students. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong skills classroom management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey complex concepts clearly. A passion for mentoring students and fostering their academic development. Familiarity with library services is advantageous.
