EHS TEACHER 40 HOURS PER WEEK, FULL YEAR

Job Overview We are fast-paced and high-demand, non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions. Responsibilities and Duties Supervise and care for children in the classroom to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, federal and state regulation, and licensing requirements. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom. Maintain recordkeeping and reporting systems to ensure accurate information, with timely completion and follow-up. Qualifications Minimum Education Level High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Level Associates, or higher, in early childhood education, social work, or related field Experience Some experience preferred Preferred Experience 2+ years of direct experience with at-risk population Personal characteristics: Self-motivated, compassionate, flexible, Inclusive, reliable
