The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who is passionate about faith formation and committed to nurturing both the academic and spiritual growth of students in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Salary:
Starting range of $40,000 to $50,000 , commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach theology courses in alignment with the USCCB Curriculum Framework Provide meaningful instruction rooted in Catholic doctrine, tradition, and moral teaching Foster a classroom environment centered on dialogue, prayer, reflection, and personal growth Collaborate with Campus Ministry and faculty to support spiritual life and Catholic identity across the school Participate in school liturgies, retreats, and events that promote student faith formation Engage in professional development and ongoing faith formation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field required; Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church required High school teaching experience preferred Familiarity with current Church documents and theological best practices Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills
