Before and After-School Teacher/Floater Position Available In Somerset, New Jersey

Before and After-School Teacher/Floater Little Genius Planet 3081 State Route 27, Franklin Park, NJ 08823 Do you have a passion for working with young children? Are you reliable, nurturing, and enthusiastic? We’re looking for a warm and responsible Before Care and After Care Teacher to join our dedicated preschool team! The ideal candidate should be able to work as a floater as well as help during the summer months.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment Plan and facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities Support children’s routines including snacks, indoor/outdoor play, and quiet time Maintain a clean and organized classroom space Communicate effectively with families and staff Able to work with all age groups ( Infants up to school age)

Schedule:

Before Care:

6.30 AM – 9:00

AM After Care:

3:00 PM – 6:30

PM Floater:

As needed by the center (Monday-Friday)

Requirements:

Experience working with young children (preferred) CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Background check required Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$16.00 – $17.50 per hour
