Flushing, New York Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging middle school science lessons aligned with NY State standards Prepare 7th grade students for the regent’s examination in Physical Setting/Earth Science and the 8th grade students for the regent’s examination in the Living Environment Create hands- on experiments and lab activities to support scientific inquiry and critical thinking Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior using positive reinforcement and clear expectations Foster a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment. Applicants must be NYS Teacher Certified.
