The mission of our school is to prepare a diverse group of Providence middle school students for college preparatory high schools.

Responsibilities Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Planning for and teaching multiple sections / classes of Intervention each day using a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum; Demonstrating exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skills; Developing strong, productive relationships with students, parents and families; Participating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff, team, and community meetings; Creating a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards.

Qualifications:

Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply; Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-2 years of full-time teaching experience preferred; Full Rhode Island certification or eligibility to receive expert residency or emergency certification; Exceptionally strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Ability to demonstrate competency in other content areas beyond certification content, particularly in Literacy.
