Job Summary At
MAD HOUSE
(our after-school wellness hub), House Leaders are the heartbeat of our programming. You will be paired with a specific grade level (Pre-K through 5th) and lead scholars in a fun, safe, and wellness-centered daily experience. Duties Lead and manage a grade-specific after-school group of scholars. Deliver activities focused on movement, nutrition, character-building, and mindfulness. Model and reinforce MAD PARK’s core values: Mindfulness, Ambition, Dedication, Integrity, Discipline, and Authenticity. Use tools our Pathways to Success method to track engagement and behavior. Foster strong communication with families and create a welcoming, structured environment. Requirements Passion for youth development, education, or health & wellness. Experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, babysitting, summer camps, classroom assistance). Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and families. Ability to commit to a consistent weekday schedule (3PM-5:30 PM). Background in education, child development, psychology, or public health is a plus. A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth academically and personally. What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in classroom and behavior management.
