AFTER SCHOOL TEACHER

– Part Time Job description Are you looking for a job where you can enjoy performing/creative arts and working with children ages 5 to 12 years old? We are looking for you to join our FAME family as our Part Time After School teacher!

• THIS POSITION WILL START AUGUST/FALL 2025

•

Hours :

2:00-6:00pm Monday to

Friday For CCSD Early Release Days:

12:00-4:00pm and Half Days 10:00am-3:00pm For Day Camps when CCSD is out 8:30am-4:00pm. In-House events as needed.

Compensation:

$16.50-18.25

DOE Requirements :

• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience working with children (ages 5 to 12 years old)
• Meet the requirements to drive the school van (13 passenger van) to pick up from our local schools
• A hands-on and engaging approach to teaching
• A positive and outgoing attitude while providing a safe and welcoming environment for all
• Reliable and responsible

Responsibilities :

• Supervise children grades Kindergarten-8th grades
• Adhere to all state and FAME safety guidelines and policies
• Provide Homework help for those requiring assistance (we offer limited homework help)
• Plan engaging performance and creative based activities within our budget
• Serve provided snack
• Provide organization and structure for children in a welcoming, warm, and positive way
• Communicate on a weekly basis of student updates/upcoming FAME events to parents
• Communicate any issues to your supervisor and parents
