Orangeburg Prep is accredited by Cognia and the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, Inc., Orangeburg, South Carolina, is accepting applications for a full-time middle school English teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. We are seeking a subject area expert who is responsible for teaching literature, grammar, and writing, and be committed to helping students grow in their communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

Teach middle school English. Plan and prepare lessons according to the curriculum. Assess students’ learning needs and determine appropriate teaching methods. Monitor student progress and help them in their studies to ensure they meet the standards set by the school’s administration. Inform parents about students’ progress. Coach students who need extra support in their courses. Provide feedback to help students improve their performance. Report on students’ progress to parents and teachers. Keep a record of students’ grades and attendance
