Full Job Description Job Overview:

Providence Classical School is a private school in Rock Hill, SC. We are classical, Christian, and traditional. Providence seeks a dedicated and passionate Part-Time 4th-Grade Teacher to join our educational team for the 2025/2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in classical education and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment based on a Biblical worldview. Our school meets 4 days a week (Tuesday-Friday) from mid-August to mid-May. The teacher’s hours for this role are 11:30 am to 3:45 pm Tuesday-Friday, plus faculty meetings and all-school programs. We are looking for candidates who love students, love learning, love teaching, and love the Lord!

Duties:

Follow the classical curriculum Create a positive, engaging, Christ-centered learning environment Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians Collaborate with other teachers and education professionals to support student development Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning

Requirements & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required Experience working with students in an educational setting Familiarity with classical education is a plus Proven experience with successful classroom management Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members We encourage individuals who are passionate about classical education and committed to a Christian worldview to apply for this opportunity.
