This unique role supports a highly capable student in an independent study-type setting, with a focus on math instruction and incorporating science and social studies content when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily 1:1 instruction for a Middle School student in a personalized learning environment. Plan, develop, and implement curriculum for math that is responsive to the student’s academic profile. Design and facilitate engaging extension activities in science and social studies. Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of a gifted and/or twice-exceptional learner. Collaborate regularly with Middle School administration to align goals, strategies, and student support. Track and communicate academic progress through regular updates and documentation.

Gifted Education Preferred:
Degree in Special Education and/or Twice Exceptional specialization Demonstrated experience working with gifted and talented or twice-exceptional students. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, student-centered learning, and executive functioning strategies.
