Part-Time Elementary Science Teacher Foundations Christian Academy Franklin, TN 37069 Part-Time Elementary Science Educator Foundations Christian Academy is searching for a part-time, passionate, and knowledgable science instructor for 3rd and 4th grades for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for someone who will get students excited about science by incorporating hands-on and real-life learning. FCA is a Monday and Friday tutorial in Franklin for grades K-6. We provide a two-day a week classroom experience for homeschool students with work sent home for the other three days. Our goal is to partner with parents to provide a high-quality, Biblical education for our students. Responsibilities Present lessons in a comprehensive and engaging manner. Maintain an orderly classroom which fosters exploration and learning. Collaborate with other instructors. Assess and record student’s progress and provide grades and feedback. Communicate with parents. Skills Be well-organized and committed to student growth. Exemplify strong Christian character and discipline. Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Be creative in your lessons, ensuring hands-on activities to make scientific concepts clear. Your teacher’s license does not have to be valid, though a background in education is preferred.
