Plant Museum and will report to the Museum Executive Director. Responsibilities 1. Manage Museum donor database and maintain membership records. Includes processing all membership renewals, growing Museum membership. 2. Process deposits from donations and sponsorships. 3. Update and expand the website, social media sites and create print and online marketing materials. 4. Strategize all marketing/public relations and community partnerships. 5. Assist with Museum membership mailings. 6. Assist the Executive Director in preparation of materials for Board of Trustees. 7. Take minutes at the monthly Board of Trustees meeting. 8. Prepare special computer projects (invitations, handouts, etc.) 9. Provide evening, weekend and holiday support for special projects and events. 10. Manage Museum email list, write and distribute monthly Museum e-newsletter. 11. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field. 2. Two (2) years’ experience in a marketing position. 3. Strong database management and computer skills required. 4. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 5. Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organizational skills needed as well as the ability to establish priorities and manage time wisely. 6. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and Microsoft Office. 7. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices. 8. Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
