Job Description
St. John’s is a vibrant Episcopal Church committed to nurturing faith in an inclusive environment of joyful curiosity. We seek a Director of Formation to invite children, youth, and families into deeper relationships with God and one another through meaningful formation experiences.
The Director of Formation will lead and support faith formation for children and youth (toddlers through high school), faith-at-home initiatives, family engagement, and intergenerational connection. This role focuses on equipping and inspiring volunteers, fostering creative and engaging formation opportunities, and collaborating with clergy, staff and parishioners to integrate children and youth into the life of the church. Additionally, this position will assist with some adult formation activities as needed, ensuring a holistic approach to lifelong faith development in the parish community.
