Middle School Music Teacher Position Overview:

We seek a passionate, creative Middle School Music Teacher to inspire and educate students through a Christ-centered approach. The ideal candidate will integrate faith with music instruction, fostering both musical talent and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for grades [insert grades]. Teach general music classes, including choir, band, or orchestra, as applicable. Organize and direct school concerts, performances, and chapel worship sessions. Foster a love for music while incorporating Christian values. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with fellow staff to integrate music into cross-curricular projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (Master’s preferred). Valid teaching certification (state-specific or ACSI certification preferred not required). Strong commitment to Christian faith and ability to integrate it into teaching. Proven experience teaching middle school students. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
