Full Job Description Goal:

Provide a fun, safety, and learning environment during your lessons. Assure that every student learned during the class and send homework to practice. Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to develop their musical talents. The Music Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and other educators to promote a comprehensive music program that enhances the overall educational experience. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Educate students in various aspects of music, including theory, performance, and appreciation. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment. Provide individualized tutoring and support to students as needed to help them achieve their musical goals. Incorporate elements of early childhood education into lessons for younger students to foster creativity and engagement. Organize and lead music-related activities, including performances, recitals, and workshops. Collaborate with other educators in areas such as dance, culinary arts, or photography to create interdisciplinary projects. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development.

  • Be able to work: Monday thru Thursday 1pm to 8pm Fridays 12 to 6:30pm and Saturdays 8:30 am to 3:00pm
  • Have a Music Degree
  • Arrive 30 minutes before Your first class
  • Welcome every student at the front desk
  • Be able to use electronics (tablet, smart phone, etc.)
  • Make sure to log in at the platform before every class to make sure they are not doing online/review schedule
  • Record every class before to start
  • At the end of your day make sure to send a writing follow up of what was done during the class and what is for homework
  • Every 3 months evaluate your students using PIMAS templates
  • Keep in track of all the students that are ready to perform in our July and December recital Experience A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred.

Experience in early childhood education is a plus. Proven skills in lesson planning and classroom management. Background in tutoring or mentoring students in music or related disciplines. Familiarity with various musical instruments and teaching methodologies. Knowledge of dance (particularly ballet) can enhance the teaching approach for integrated arts education.
