The ideal candidates will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters both musical growth and personal development. This role involves working with children of varying abilities and backgrounds, implementing effective teaching strategies, and collaborating with administration to enhance the learning experience. This class will use a resource class model (Rotating groups on different days of the week) for grades K-7. For grades 8-12 Entry level and Advanced classes will be developed. The choice of classes could include: chorus, band, etc. Offered class choices based on skill and preference of instructor. Duties Develop a resource rotation for lower grades that exposes all students to music in various forms. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment. Assess student progress regularly, and adjust methods as needed. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents, guardians, and administration. Foster a love for biblical learning by incorporating creative biblical activities into the curriculum. Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Knowledge of classroom management techniques is highly desirable. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
