The King’s Academy, a private Christian school is seeking an Elementary Music Teacher to teach content area material, with Biblical integration, according to the overall philosophy, policies, and objectives of The King’s Academy.
General Job Description
The teacher will prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible, disciplined Christians who exhibit knowledge and wisdom in submission to God. The teacher will have a strong understanding and experience in developmentally appropriate techniques and teaching music to younger learners (K-3). The teacher will plan, prepare, and lead elementary music programs (i.e. Constitution Day, Veteran’s Day, and Christmas programs). The teacher will ascribe to and perform all duties in accordance with The King’s Academy’s Statement of Faith and Employee Role Model Standards. The employees of the King’s Academy are ministers of the Gospel and the successful candidate will possess a clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and must be able to demonstrate active membership and involvement in an evangelical local church.
