Private and Group Lesson Music Teacher Highland Music Studio 1405 Dutch Valley Place NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 Job Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. If you’re passionate about music and love inspiring young minds, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will bring both musical expertise and a nurturing teaching style to help students of all ages discover their musical abilities and grow in confidence. You’ll be instrumental in fostering creativity, expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students’ diverse learning needs. Teach a variety of music styles, including classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. Provide instruction in music theory, vocal training, and instrumental performance. Organize and lead performances, such as concerts and open mic’s Evaluate student progress and offer constructive, motivating feedback. Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate music into the wider school curriculum. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages imagination and self-expression. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student development. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field (preferred, not required). Prior experience teaching music in a classroom setting is highly valued. Background in early childhood education or childcare is a plus. Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is beneficial. Bonus skills in dance, photography, or any other arts are useful for interdisciplinary enrichment. Familiarity with classroom management and one-on-one tutoring is an advantage.
