Skyler’s Music Studio, LLC provides vocal coaching and piano lessons for kids and adults! We also offer a plethora of workshops, classes, and products. We were established in the spring of 2017 and have been going strong for nearly six years! With our motto being “Music Your Way,” we aim to act as a guide to assist students in reaching their musical goals through proper techniques, methods, and our professional experience. About the

Role:

The instructor will provide students with enjoyable and educational private lessons. This individual must work well with children, teenagers, and adults, as students’ ages may range. The instructor will be knowledgeable in music theory and piano techniques and capable of reading and proficiently playing music. Most importantly, the instructor will be able to deliver the obtainable subject matter to their students in a comprehensive and timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Teach in-person and online piano lessons to children 5+, teenagers, and adults
• Follow the Alfred Music method piano books
• Incorporate the Music Theory Coloring & Activity Book
• Provide a safe and fun learning environment
• Disinfect piano keys after each in person lesson
• Follow the curriculum and provide students with studio approved materials
• Document lesson plans and homework in

My Music Staff Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (preferably in music or education)
• 1 year of teaching experience
• Own a laptop computer with access to operate Zoom
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Professional music performer (Preferred)
• Have experience working with young/beginner students
• Have availability during business hours to teach 1-10 hours a week (instructor sets schedule): o Weekdays 10am to 5pm o Sundays 10am to 3pm
