Our menu of programs provides unique and innovative opportunities to learn about and benefit from music education. Providing accessible music education is a necessity to our students, many of whom attend private schools without music programs. We are hiring for studio instructors and in-home music instructors. You can choose to teach in the studio or inside your student’s homes.

IN-HOME MUSIC LESSONS

Middle C Music offers professional voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar, double bass, flute, trumpet, music theory, and composition lessons to students inside their homes.

STUDIO PROGRAMS

400 River Highlands Blvd. Suite 10, Covington, LA 70433 Private lessons in voice, piano, flute, guitar, bass guitar, violin, cello, viola, banjo, trumpet, clarinet Choir Flute Choir Performance Hour Workshop Introduction to Music (ages 4-6) Chamber Music Classes School Holiday/Summer Camps Rehearsal Studio Rental (students and professional musicians can rent one of our lesson rooms or our recital space during business hours) Our work environment includes: 6 studio lesson rooms each with a Yamaha CLP735 piano and one with a Yamaha CSP150. Duties:

• Provide instrumental instruction on your primary instrument to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement curriculum for lessons/classes
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
• Plan and prepare lesson materials and resources
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Proficiency in playing your instrument, with a strong knowledge of music theory
• Experience teaching lessons to students of different ages and skill levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Patience and a passion for educating others
• Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting is preferred but not required Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.

The instructor may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
