Band Lessons School Year 2025-2026
Job Description:
Teaching private and/or small group instrument lessons during the school dayPlan accordingly for end of year school wide rehearsalsAttend anticipated faculty meeting and one week night open house in the
FallJob Responsibilities:
Communication with students, caregivers and staffMaintain relations with Amherst Regional Middle/High SchoolScheduling lessonsFormal creation and organization of music library/ repertoire of music Set up and maintain current inventory of school owned equipmentGuiding families in purchase or rental of instruments/equipmentMeet quarterly with Union 28
Arts & Music PD CoordinatorQualifications:
The ideal candidate will be particularly experienced and comfortable teaching young children and able to commit to at least two days of teaching.
Bachelors degree in performance, music education or equivalent work experience.
Documented successful teaching experience.
Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
Anticipated 2 days per week September – June / $7,000.00
