We are looking to hire a Multi-Instrumentalist Music Instructor who can teach: Guitar, Drums, and Keyboard for our summer camps! The ideal candidate will have a background in music education and previous experience in teaching music. This role involves teaching from an established curriculum (you don’t need to plan the lessons, we do it for you!) and fostering a positive learning environment! Responsibilities Teach private, semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements The roll can include providing band coaching to small rock / pop ensembles for the purposes of live performance and recordings Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble Assist at school events Requirements/Skills Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, theory, techniques relevant to their instrument(s) and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students Be able to teach from music lesson books Previous music teaching experience Playing 2+ instruments very desirable Ability to pass a background check Part-time, weekdays required
