Waltham/Greater Boston Area, MA:

Private Lesson Instruction in piano, ages 4-10. Potential to expand into music, movement, and group piano classes, as well. Lessons are ages 4-10. 1-2 afternoons/week, with possibility to expand (Tuesdays and/or Thursdays) Curriculum, materials, and teacher support are provided

Job Overview:

We are looking for a piano teacher to fill a current lesson and class schedule for the 2025-2026 Academic Year in Waltham, MA.

Teaching Rate:

Competitive rates for private lessons, $35-70 per class dependent on experience and class length, teaching meetings are also paid. Teaching contract for 30-week academic period, September – May.

Required Qualifications:

College Degree related to music performance or education 2+ years experience in private lesson or classroom teaching Candidates must be organized and detail-oriented Comfort and experience with creating lesson plans, also curriculum is provided and can be tailored to each teacher’s needs and goals. Teamwork and collaboration skills. You will be working as part of a team and interacting with multiple teachers and staff members on a regular basis. Sensitivity around the personal, financial, and health circumstances of our students

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with extracurricular music and arts activities and organizations serving children and families Experience with teaching movement and music Dalcroze Certificate, License level training an asset Experience with GSuite including Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.
