Teaching Copywriting Full Job Description Summer Band Instructors Description:
The Everett Summer Band program will recruit up to 75 rising 6th-12th grade students to participate in summer music classes to continue building instrument skills and perform at an end-of-program summer concert. We are seeking 3 instructors to lead music classes for the program.
Working Times:
July 7th through July 31, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting students to enroll in the program – group lessons, sectionals, or individual lessons Plan and deliver programmatic curriculum Assist with administrative duties such as organizing apparel orders and distribution, scheduling ensemble performance, family outreach, attendance, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience directing a band and/or music program. Ability to stay organized to plan events, copy music, distribute items, and recruit volunteers. Knowledge of instrumental techniques, pedagogy, and modern band performance practices. Current EPS employee
Preferred Qualifications:
three or more years of elementary, middle school and/or high school teaching experience in music education
Remuneration:
$40/hr to not exceed $3,200
