The Winsor School is an independent girls’ school for academically promising and motivated students in grades five through twelve. : The school is seeking a drum kit teacher to teach private lessons in our After School Music Program (ASMP) starting in early September 2025. Strong candidates will have a degree in music and experience teaching beginner to intermediate drum students strong technique, drum notation, playing expressively and in a variety of genres at the middle school level.: Duties include: Teaching in-person private lessons in our After School Music Program (ASMP) on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.: Communicating about student progress with ASMP coordinator and Head of Performing Arts.: Communicating with parents via email.: Completing bi-weekly timesheets.: A willingness to collaborate, a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches during private lessons are essential.
