The successful candidates will demonstrate exceptionally strong skills as an educator, conductor, and musician. They will work collaboratively as part of a team of talented and dedicated Performing Arts Department faculty members who are committed to providing high level artistic experiences for students in grades 7-8. A strong background in ukulele methods, beginning concert band, and GarageBand/music production tools is essential. The successful candidates will exhibit dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students, and maintain and enhance enthusiastic participation in a safe, supportive, and student-centered environment. Responsibilities of the position include teaching general music classes and beginning concert band. You will also prepare students for solo and ensemble festivals and competitions as well as at least two school concerts annually.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

WORK YEAR

Teacher work year plus at least two school concerts annually
