Closing Date 06/30/2025 Choir Director The Choir Director will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive choral music program that serves students of various backgrounds and ability levels. This is an opportunity to lead a program with a rich history of excellence, with a supportive administration and supportive community. Strong musician able to conduct large group rehearsals and small-group or solo coaching sessions that focus on proper vocal technique, music literacy, ensemble skills, and attention to performance excellence
Demonstrated expertise in diverse choral repertoire, with experience in both traditional choral and contemporary styles, strong collaborator able to partner with the performing arts faculty on performances, including a strong musical theatre program
Proven ability to build and maintain a successful high school choral program, including recruiting and retaining students, ensuring continued growth and quality. Bachelor’s Degree in education with appropriate subject area. Must have North Carolina certification or credentials to attain NC certification.
