Position:

Expansion & Marketing Coordinator (with Music Instruction Support)

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00

South Charlotte & Waxhaw Areas Overview:

Musicians In Motion is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as an Expansion & Marketing Coordinator. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is both a skilled musician (with the ability to teach piano and guitar) and has proven experience in marketing and business development. The primary focus will be on helping drive the expansion of our school, supported by marketing efforts and occasional music instruction as a substitute teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

Expansion & Business Development (Primary Role): Identify and pursue opportunities for growth in new locations and program offerings Assist in the planning and execution of new studio launches and partnerships Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff and teachers as we grow

Marketing & Outreach:

Create and manage digital and print marketing campaigns Manage social media content and advertising strategy Assist with website updates, newsletters, and SEO initiatives

Substitute Music Instruction:

Serve as a substitute teacher for piano and guitar lessons as needed Support students with engaging, high-quality instruction during teacher absences Maintain consistency with existing lesson plans and student goals

Qualifications:

Proficient in both piano and guitar instruction Experience in marketing, ideally in a small business or educational setting Strong communication and organizational skills Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Background in music education or performance preferred

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
