The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Elementary choir and music education and a commitment to fostering a love for music in students of all ages. Ideally experienced in Catholic mass and music ministry. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Organize performances and recitals to showcase student talent and progress. Qualifications Experience leading a children’s choir. Experience working with students of varying ages, especially grades 1-6. Strong understanding of childhood development principles as they relate to music education. Skills in curriculum development to create engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
