• Grade 2 students, coordinating with the Primary Grades Music Teacher Teaches general styles of music, including introduction to musical instruments Possesses a passion for teaching Music and developing curriculum to excite, engage and motivate all students through differentiated approaches Develops weekly and individualized lesson plans to teach the fundamentals of music, incorporating musical instruments and movement, as applicable Acquires and prepares appropriate teaching materials and resources Prepares students for school concerts and other music experiences Communicates with families, both formally and informally (school night, notes home) about the music program and their student’s personal journey Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Music major preferred) Previous music teaching experience Technological proficiency and adaptability (i.
